Principal Lecturer, International Business

The Business Unit of LAB University of Applied Sciences trains Bachelors of Business Administration and Bachelors of Hospitality Management for the jobs of future specialists and offers continuing education. We are active in RDI activities and value diverse skills. We are constantly experimenting with new ways of doing things together with companies.

We are looking for a Principal Lecturer in International Business to be responsible for the curricula and to contribute to the unit’s accreditation process.

You will work as a lecturer in international business in both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, as a thesis supervisor, as a curriculum developer, and as a contributor to LAB’s RDI and publishing activities, especially in the field of growth and internationalization.

• solid experience in international business 
• understanding of the world of higher education
• evidence of international research projects and active publishing
• good Finnish and English language skills 
• postgraduate degree (licentiate, doctorate) in a relevant field.

Starting date: 1 January 2025 or as agreed. LAB University of Applied Sciences has offices in both Lahti and Lappeenranta. Your home campus is the Lahti campus.

Remuneration and other terms and conditions of employment are determined by the Collective Agreement for Universities of Applied Sciences. The total salary for the postistion will depend on your previous professional experience and qualifications. The salary range for a fully qualified person is between €4,315 and €6,122. The position is subject to a probationary period of six months.
