Project Manager, Aftermarket Projects – Propulsion & Handling – Global Customer Support

We design, manufacture and market propulsion thrusters, deck machinery and waterjets, in addition to designing new solutions for the maritime industry. An exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Manager, Aftermarket Projects. In this role, you will be a part of the Deck Machinery aftermarket team focusing on high quality deliveries to customers within several segments in the shipping industry. You will be responsible for a high variety of the aftermarket projects for vessel retrofits, refits and service operations. As a Project Manager you will play a vital role in planning, executing, monitoring and completing projects with high quality requirements and demanding customers. You are expected to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the right quality. This is a vital role in the aftermarket organization, and you must be able to communicate and co-operate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders on different levels in the organizations.

Deliver projects on time, at the right quality and within budget
Strong focus on customer satisfaction
Effective communication with all stakeholders
Contribute to develop the AMT service operations
Provide sales support for aftermarket sales
Qualifications and experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree, experience can compensate for formal education
Experience from project management or similar leadership experience
Technical, Economic or Management background
Fluent skills in English, oral and written
Global perspective and open to different challenges, cultures and ways of operating
Experience from marine industry is an advantage
Focused on organizational and personal development
