Financial Controller, Group Financial Services for K group

Group Financial Services team is looking for Financial Controller to join the energetic and change-driven team of experts. You will have a key role in providing comprehensive financial reporting and your specific area of responsibility is Grocery trade -division controlling and reporting according to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles. You will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance within Kesko Oyj and Grocery trade companies. Additionally, depending on your experience and interest, you may have the opportunity to lead a small team of chief accountants. You will be based either in Helsinki or in Tampere. Here in Kesko we work in a hybrid model that consists weekly office days.

You will participate in division and group level projects which relate to for example corporate restructuring, process development or finance IT systems.
What we expect from you:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent qualification) – Over ten years of relevant work experience in financial accounting and financial controlling – Proficiency and proven track record in the area of financial processes – Proficiency with relevant IT systems and tools (SAP, EPM, MS Office) – Good social and communication skills and fluent written and spoken Finnish and English – Proactive and systematic way of working and hunger for continuous improvement – Resilience and absolute sense of responsibility – Experience in the areas of group accounting and applying IFRS standards in preparation of consolidated financial statements in an advantage – Team Leader experience is an asset
