As a Facility Technician, you help ensure that our laboratories and production environments remain safe, functional, and ready for mission-critical work. Your work supports advanced infrastructure such as cleanrooms, cryogenic halls, process cooling, ventilation systems, and building automation. By maintaining and improving these systems, you help keep our operations running smoothly and our production reliable every day.What will I be doing?Perform preventive maintenance tasks for facility systems, tools, and utilitiesCarry out small repairs and general maintenance tasks across laboratory and production areasPerform regular equipment checks and monitor facility systemsRecord maintenance activities and inspections in internal systems and checklistsSupport risk assessments and help develop safety procedures and instructionsAssist in renovation and facility improvement projectsPrepare utilities and infrastructure for new equipment installations and relocationsKeep laboratories and technical spaces tidy, safe, and in good working conditionParticipate in spare parts management and basic inventory tasksSupport waste management and coordinate with subcontractors when needed What skills do I need?Vocational education in building services engineering, electrical, mechanical maintenance, or a similar fieldSome experience in facilities maintenance, production utilities, equipment maintenance, or technical environmentsBasic understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electricity, cooling systems, gas supply, or similar utilitiesHands-on attitude and willingness to perform practical maintenance and repair tasksInterest in technology and motivation to learn about complex technical environmentsSystematic approach to troubleshooting and problem solvingCustomer service mindset when working with internal teams, contractors, and vendorsAbility to participate in an on-call duty to support facility operations when neededGood communication skills in Finnish and EnglishNice to haveTraining or experience in plumbingExperience maintaining cleanrooms or data center environmentsExperience working with chemicals or gas systems in technical facilitiesWhat can I expect from IQM?An opportunity to work with a passionate and diverse team on an important missionA unique opportunity to make a real impact on the future of quantumGrowth and progress in a creative and open start-up environmentMeet our people and hear more about IQMby visiting ourYoutube channel here >>Please note that only applications submitted through the website will be processed.
