Helsinki Incubators International Trainee
The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki Masters programme.
We are looking for an international trainee for the Helsinki Incubators entrepreneurship support unit.
You will be working with tasks related to the Helsinki Incubators at the University of Helsinki.
Main tasks of the trainee:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized trainee to assist incubation related tasks. Tasks will depend on the trainees background and experience level.
Day-to-day pre-incubator and incubator workshop facilitation and organization support and getting feedback from participants and identifying action points from feedback.
Assisting in admin & CRM management
Communications & marketing: Call support through in-person events
Ecosystem knowledgebase: listing of European startup events
Re-evaluate alumni teams and continue to doing analysis on our community
Events: Supporting the organisation of events
This position will provide you with valuable insights into the operations of an incubator. As a trainee, you will work as a member in the UH Helsinki Incubators.

We are looking for candidates with a flexible can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills in an international environment. You will be working in a multicultural setting that encompasses a wide range of disciplines and organizational cultures. It is essential to be systematic, curious, cooperative, and able to work in an environment where changes are possible. Fluency in working within a digital environment is required.
The specific focus of your responsibilities can be defined based on your experience, skills, and interests. You have fluency in spoken and written English. You have a proactive way of working and good communication and teamwork skills. Experience in communications or event management is an advantage.

The duration of the traineeship is from 1 September to 31 December 2025 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €825 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee.
