Jet Engine Mechanic

Are you an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic looking for a new challenge?

We are the Jet Engine MRO located at Helsinki Airport, Finland, looking for new colleagues to join our Hospital Shop Visit team (SPAH) in our steadily developing and international company, GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES).

SPAH is a separate team within our company that is dedicated to performing surgical quick turn engine repairs onsite and offsite.

Our SPAH mechanics work on CFM56-5B/7B & CF6-80C2 Special Procedure Workscopes which includes but not limited to:
Pre- and Post-Lease and Purchase inspections
On-wing inspections and repairs
Hot section, Top/Bottom Case repairs
Module replacements
Engine test runs & preservation
MPD tasks renewal
Compressor/Turbine blade and vane replacements

From an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic, we expect prior knowledge of these tasks, and after getting familiar with our practices, you will gradually take responsibility for them and have the opportunity to share your expertise with others.

Good hand skills and ability to use tools correctly
Good English language skills to communicate and to read & interpret manuals and service bulletins
Flexibility with working times and tasks
Responsibility, motivation and willingness to learn new things
Positive, hardworking and team-oriented attitude

Starting salary 31 500€/year GROSS with increases based on experience, skills, and performance
