We are looking for an experienced Chinese Cuisine Chef to join our dynamic and professional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional Chinese cooking and a solid understanding of gluten-free food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare authentic Chinese dishes with a focus on gluten-free recipes
– Ensure food safety and prevent gluten cross-contamination
– Make gluten-free traditional Chinese food products such as:
– Rice wine (mi jiu)
– Tofu
– Rice noodles (mi xian)
– Milk tea
– Use gluten-free seasonings and sauces appropriately
– Collaborate with the team to create and refine recipes
Requirements
Education & Experience:
– Chef qualification certificate
– Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a chef in Chinese cuisine
Language Skills:
– Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required
– English or Finnish language skills are an advantage
Skills & Knowledge:
– Deep understanding of gluten-free ingredients and dietary restrictions
– Familiarity with kitchen hygiene and food allergy safety protocols
– Creative approach to traditional Chinese cooking with a health-conscious mindset
