Manager, process, methodology and tools, Epec Oy, Seinäjoki

Epec is now looking for a person to develop and implement strategies to enhance product development processes, methods and tools. This is a key role in Epec’s future success to produce top quality products with well optimized processes, and you would have highly experienced colleagues to support your daily tasks. This position is a flexible hybrid position and you can be placed in any of Epec offices in Finland. Frequent travelling domestic/internationally is foreseen.

What kind of tasks?

You would be responsible for process improvement and engineering tool development; identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies and ensuring effective engineering tools such as requirements management, test management and systems engineering/architectural management. You would design and improve management system to streamline operations and enhance productivity. Stakeholder collaboration is also essential part of this position, like developing and implementing product development processes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of projects to meet highly demanding standards for on- and off-road applications.

You should ensure that all processes comply with industry standards like IATF 16949, ISO26262, ASPICE, ISO21432, IEC62443, ISO9001 and ISO27001 and regulatory requirements. In this position you should also provide training and support to staff on new processes and systems in implementation phase to ensure efficient ramp up of processes and tools. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization is also very important task in this role.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to have minimum of 10 years in process development, project management, or management system development with proven track of record for implementing a highly complex product development processes, tools and methods in relevant field of industry (preferably automotive). To be successful in this position, you should have bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering or related fields. Experience in embedded systems development, both hardware and software are expected.

We want you to have relevant certifications such as IPMA, ISTQP, Lean Six Sigma GB or preferably BB, lead auditor. We expect you to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to facilitate cross functional teams and people. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication, leadership and team collaboration skills.
