Subcontracting Manager

We are strengthening our organization and looking for a Subcontracting Manager to join our Industry Business Unit at one of our offices in Turku, Espoo, Tampere, Jyväskylä, or Oulu.

You have a solid understanding of procurement, subcontracting, and contract management processes. You’ve gained hands-on experience in managing subcontractors and subcontracted work, even though this role does not include direct subordinates.

In this role, you will participate in project procurement management, support sales, act as a key cross-functional link across business units and manage a network of engineering and site service subcontractors for various projects.

In the procurement part of role, you operate strongly on the customer interface, where our customers expect expertise and an active approach to work. Creative problem-solving skills and adapting design solutions to the needs of our customers come naturally to you. You know how to adapt technical solutions to meet customer needs, and you’re comfortable operating in a dynamic project environment. A broad understanding of multidisciplinary design is important, as the role requires seeing the big picture and ensuring functional integration of plant-level solutions.

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in procurement
