Structural Analyst / Lujuuslaskija

We are looking for an experienced Structural Analyst for customer projects in our technical analysis team. Structural analysis department has teams in Turku, Espoo, Tampere, Oulu and Jyväskylä. Hybrid or remote work are also possible.

Who are we

More than 60 technical analysis specialist work at Elomatic, of those more than 40 work on structural analysis. Our knowledge covers applications in process, energy, machines and marine. We value experience, for example five of us have PhDs.

What we offer

Challenges and variation are a part of our everyday work. Our projects are from multiple fields and project may range from few days to multiple years, sometimes even decades. Sometimes the projects may be challenging and customers demanding, but the colleagues are definitely always amazing! You will be supported by our whole team of 40 structural analysis specialists, who are ready to help you when you meet any problems.

In this position you can take on responsibility based on your level of expertise and grow in new fields. Position can be tailored according to your experience. For an experienced marine analyst, we can offer a position analyzing a vessel as a part of a larger structural analysis team. If your experience is wide, you could be a project manager, tackling challenging FE models, discussing with customers and participating in sales.

We use the top software available (for example, products from ANSYS, Abaqus and Altair). and we have the computer capacity for more challenging models.

We are flexible with regards to position; hybrid working is popular in our group. Elomatic offers different benefits, such as a very comprehensive work health care and insurance for free time.

What do we demand

• Multiple years of experience from structural analysis. 
• A suitable Master’s degree or higher.
• Experience from a structural analysis software, such as Ansys or Abaqus.

What do we value

• Experience from project management tasks.
• Experience from analysis of ships or other application related to marine.
• Knowledge on vibration analysis.
• Experience on working with customers or sales.

Mitä me tarjoamme

Haasteet ja vaihtelu ovat jokapäiväinen osa työtämme. Projektimme ovat usealta eri alalta ja projektien pituus vaihtelee aina muutaman päivän projekteista vuoden mittaisiin projekteihin. Jotkut projektit ovat voineet jatkua jopa vuosikymmeniä. Joskus projektit voivat olla haastavia ja asiakkaat vaativia, mutta työkaverit ovat aina taatusti mahtavia! Sinua tulee työssäsi tukemaan koko yli 40 lujuuslaskijan tiimimme, jotka ovat valmiit auttamaan mahdollisissa ongelmissa.

Meillä pääset ottamaan vastuuta oman osaamisesi mukaan ja kasvamaan uusilla osaamisalueilla. Tehtävä voidaan räätälöidä osaamisesi mukaan. Kokeneella laivalaskijalle voimme tarjota haasteita osana suurempaa laivaprojektia. Muuten laajaa osaamista omaavana voit mielenkiintosi mukaan päästä vetämään lujuuslaskennan projekteja, tekemään laskentaa, osallistumaan asiakassuhteiden hoitoon sekä myyntiin ja halutessasi vaikuttamaan koko laskennan kehitykseen.

Käytössämme on alansa johtavat teknisen laskennan ohjelmat (mm. ohjelmistoyhtiöiden ANSYS, Abaqus ja Altair tuotteet) sekä laskentakapasiteettia isompiinkin projekteihin.

Olemme joustavia työn tekemispaikan suhteen, hybridityö on meillä suosittua. Osa meistä tekee työtään myös täysin etänä. Elomatic yrityksenä tarjoaa erilaisia etuja, kuten kattavan työterveyshuollon ja vakuutuksen vapaa-ajalle.

Mitä me vaadimme

• Useamman vuoden kokemusta lujuuslaskennasta.
• Tehtävään soveltuvaa ylempää korkeakoulututkintoa.
• Kokemusta jostain lujuuslaskentaohjelmistosta, esimerkiksi Ansys tai Abaqus.
