Finance Controlling Lead

We are looking for an experienced finance controlling professional to lead the development of our group-level financial steering and reporting. As we continue to grow globally, we need your expertise to ensure that our financial operations effectively support this growth. 

Your role and the team 

Join us at Elomatic as we strengthen our Finance team of 16 professionals, led by our CFO Ulla. We’re hiring preferably to our office in Turku, but this role can also be based in Espoo — just tell us your preferred location in your application!

As Finance Controlling Lead, you’ll take ownership of the consolidation of group-level financial data and ensure the accuracy and reliability of our reporting. This senior expert role involves close collaboration with our international finance community, including accountants, controllers, business unit leaders, and the CFO. You will serve as the key specialist guiding our units in group reporting practices, maintaining the group accounting manual, and ensuring smooth intercompany matching, eliminations, and month-end reporting.

You will also be responsible for corporate tax reporting, maintaining transfer pricing documentation, and coordinating both internal audits of accounting practices and external audit processes. Staying informed on international tax audits and supporting units in resolving findings will be a key part of your work. In your daily tasks, you’ll use Power BI -tools and local accounting systems, and work in close cooperation with our Business Controlling team.

In addition, you’ll contribute to the development of our financial reporting environment, including the renewal of our consolidation solution, participation in our ERP implementation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes to ensure greater speed, automation, and consistency across countries.

This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with strong consolidation expertise, preferably supported by an audit background, who enjoys working in a global environment and driving the development of finance processes.

What helps you succeed in this role

• A relevant higher degree, preferably a master’s degree in economics.
• Strong experience in international financial performance management and group reporting.
• Solid understanding of IFRS standards and a natural command of FAS standards. 
• Proven experience in developing finance systems and participating in ERP implementation projects.
• Practical skills in essential finance tools and systems, such as Power BI Books, local accounting systems, and Sonet.
• Excellent English skills and preferably Finnish skills along with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing rules, including experience in maintaining group transfer pricing documentation and international taxation basics.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and a genuine interest in working in a global, multicultural environment.
• Audit experience is an advantage, but hands‑on expertise in group reporting is essential.
