Design Manager (Concept Design and Shipowner Services)

We are seeking a Design Manager to lead our Concept Design and Shipowner Services team at our Turku office.

In this role, you will be responsible for team leadership, process management and development, as well as product and innovation process improvements. We are looking for an experienced ship designer or already a Design Manager with a strong background in the industry.

Beyond leadership responsibilities, we expect you to be actively involved in day-to-day design tasks. The role also includes some travel for customer meetings and potential supplier site audits.

What we expect from you

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in shipbuilding or marine engineering/management.

This role requires strong technical expertise in 3D ship design CAD systems, proficiency in reading technical drawings, and familiarity with office software. Additionally, a solid understanding of project definition principles in ERP systems is essential.
