Tea Barista (Future Shift Leader)

Our tea house focuses on high-quality loose leaf tea, traditional Gongfu tea service, specialty tea drinks, and desserts. We are looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, has a strong interest in tea culture, and is willing to deepen their knowledge and skills in tea.
Key Responsibilities includes:
1. Prepare and serve tea drinks (hot tea, iced tea, and specialty drinks) with consistent quality.
2. Perform Gongfu tea brewing and service, and confidently introduce and explain teas to guests.
3. Provide a complete tea experience by guiding customers through tea selection and sharing tea knowledge.
4. Operate the shop independently during certain shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations.
5. Handle busy hours efficiently, coordinating drink preparation, service flow, and team tasks.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea house.
7. Assist with tea packaging and other operational tasks during quieter periods

Requirements
1. Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
2. Kind, respectful, and considerate toward colleagues and customers
3. Ability to manage the shop independently during a shift
4. Excellent communication skills with customers
5. Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or tea shop is required. Candidates must already be able to prepare basic coffee or tea drinks independently.
6. Fluency in English is required. In addition, either Finnish or Chinese language skills is necessary to ensure effective communication within the team.
7. Interest in tea culture and specialty beverages
8. Basic understanding of tea is preferred, together with a strong interest in learning more about tea preparation and tea culture
9. Patience and enthusiasm for preparing high-quality tea and creating a great experience for guests (training in Gongfu tea preparation will be provided)
