Senior Sales Account Manager

We are a global provider of 3D-based design, engineering, and information management software for the marine, process, and construction industries. Founded in the 1980s, we operate with 330+ employees across 20 countries, serving 6,000+ customers worldwide. Our growth continues.

We are now looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager to own and further grow the Swedish market.

This is an individual contributor role, responsible for new customer acquisition (primary focus) and development of selected existing accounts, reporting directly to the Sales Director, Nordics & Baltics.

In this role, you will drive sales opportunities end-to-end, work closely with technical and delivery teams, and act as the commercial lead for your territory. The position suits a seller who thrives on winning new business, building long-term customer relationships, and operating with high autonomy in a structured sales organization.

Key responsibilities in this role

  • Own new business acquisition across Plant EPC and Process industries in Sweden.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new logos and greenfield opportunities with EPCs, owner-operators, and system integrators.
  • Build pipeline proactively through target account outreach, industry insight, and partner collaboration.
  • Drive project-driven sales cycles linked to capital investments and digitalization initiatives.
  • Develop opportunity strategies aligned with early project phases (pre-FID).
  • Lead complex deal execution, including stakeholder mapping, value positioning, and competitive strategy.
  • Execute co-selling motions with resellers, SIs, and technology partners to accelerate market entry.
  • Own commercial negotiations, framework agreements, and initial contracts with new customers.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings to build market presence.

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field – or equivalent relevant commercial experience within Plant EPC / Process industries.
  • 5+ years of experience in new business sales / hunting roles within B2B, industrial, or engineering-centric markets.
  • Solid understanding of software products, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and business-relevant manner.
  • Demonstrated success in winning new logos and opening complex enterprise accounts.
  • Strong ability to engage senior technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Highly structured, self-driven, and comfortable operating with limited hand-holding.
  • Proven experience managing long sales cycles and capital project-driven opportunities.
  • Proficient in CRM-based pipeline management (e.g. Salesforce).
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and closing deals.
  • Comfort working independently and driving your own pipeline.
  • Fluent Swedish and excellent English, additional languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Sweden and Nordics.

  • Competitive benefits and flexible working environment. We keep our work agile and get things done.
  • An open and friendly culture. We want to be continuously improving and enjoy and have fun along the way.
