The role is based at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland. This is a key leadership position in a multidisciplinary environment where engineering excellence, delivery performance, and collaboration are critical to product success.Your Role at BeneqAs Engineering Manager for the P-Series team, you will lead and develop the engineering team responsible for P-Series ALD systems. You will ensure that product development and customer delivery projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.You will work closely with Product Quality, Process, Sales, Production, and Supply Chain teams to align engineering priorities with business and customer needs.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLeading, coaching, and developing the P-Series Engineering teamPlanning, scheduling, and overseeing engineering work for product management, development and customer delivery projectsEnsuring engineering deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality targets, and customer requirementsReviewing, approving, and ensuring the quality of engineering designs and technical solutionsEnsuring technical documentation for P-Series systems is accurate, complete, and maintained throughout the product lifecycleCoordinating prototyping and testing activities in close collaboration with Process and Production teamsCoordinating engineering activities related to CE marking and compliance with applicable harmonized standardsSupporting customers in technical tool design–related topics together with the engineering teamProviding technical support to sales and Head of product by contributing to tool concepts, configurations, and design solutionsWhat Were Looking forM.Sc. Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar)Several years of experience in thin film deposition equipment, semiconductor tools, or a related high-technology industryProven experience in leading engineering teamsStrong understanding of product engineering and development from both technical and commercial perspectivesSolid knowledge of equipment design, manufacturing processes, and industry standardsExperience with engineering tools, PLM and ERP systems used at Beneq is considered as an asset (Autodesk Inventor, Roima Aton, SAP)You BringA structured, solution-oriented leadership styleStrong analytical and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-moving environmentExcellent collaboration and communication skills across functionsA proactive, ownership-driven mindset and commitment to continuous improvementWhy Youll Love It HereAt Beneq, your work has a direct line to real products and real impact.
