Designer, Mechanics / Senior Designer, Mechanics

Do you have a passion for mechanical design, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative environment? We are looking for a Mechanics Designer to join our Hardware Team at Beamex.

In this role, you will contribute to designing and developing mechanical components for our world-class calibration products. Whether you’re a mid-career or a seasoned professional, this opportunity allows you to work on innovative mechanical design projects in an inspiring team environment.

Your Responsibilities

– Design and develop mechanical components and structures for portable calibration devices.

– Create 3D models and detailed drawings to be sent to suppliers and manufacturers.

– Work closely with electronics and product development teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanics and electronics.

– Participate in prototyping, testing, and documentation processes.

– Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of current products and production systems.

– Support knowledge-sharing and competence backup in the HW team.

What We Are Looking For

We welcome candidates from different experience levels, but ideally, you will have:

– A Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).

– Experience in mechanical design, particularly with plastic or metal parts.

– Experience with 3D design software (Solid Edge preferred).

– Good communication skills in English (Finnish and Swedish is a plus).
