Waterjet cutter for Bluefors Oy

We are looking for a skilled Waterjet Cutter for our valued client company Bluefors Oy, initially for day work in Pitäjänmäki, along good transport connections. The position is initially fixed-term until the end of June, but there is a possibility for continuation.

Bluefors is the worlds leading manufacturer of cryostat systems, and our solutions enable advanced quantum research and applications at extremely low temperatures. Bluefors operates internationally and employs top professionals in the field who develop technology for the needs of future innovations. We are now looking for a precise and motivated Waterjet Cutter for our client for a fixed-term employment (approx. 6 months), with a possibility for extension. The work starts as day work and may later change to two-shift work.

Job description:

– Waterjet cutting with an Omax Optimax X60 waterjet cutter
– The parts to be cut are mainly flat sheet components with thicknesses of 0.5-20 mm
– The materials to be cut are mainly copper, aluminum, acid-resistant steel, and various gasket materials
– The sheets to be cut are most often size 2000 x 1000 mm
– The waterjet cutter is also used for pre-processing smaller parts to be machined
– Changing parts, measuring, and quality assurance are a central part of the workday
– At the beginning of the job, the work also includes organizing tasks and possibly assisting workshop-related work

We expect from you:

– Experience in waterjet cutting or similar sheet metal work
– Ability to read technical drawings and basic use of measuring instruments
– A careful and precise working approach and the ability to work independently
– Experience in a machine shop environment is considered an advantage
– Fluent skills in Finnish or English
