Production Technician

Teraloop Oy is looking for a hands-on, motivated, detail-oriented, and quick-learning

Production Technician to join their team in a versatile production role! The position

requires multi-skilled person who has strong mechanical and electric working

experience. Metal work must be familiar for the applicant. The applicants experience in

similar roles is necessary but also technical education and willingness to learn and

develop will be considered beneficial. Beneficial qualities for the position include

interest on technology, tech related hobbies, background and experience.

Good hobby / background examples: car repair and maintenance, electronics, small

automation projects, house renovation, DIY projects, hands-on hobbies.

Teraloop is a growing technology company developing innovative solutions for energy

storage. The companys production facilities are located in Konala, Helsinki, and we are

now looking for a new colleague to join a small but ambitious team. The employment

contract will be signed with Barona Production Oy and it will be for a fixed period of

three months, after which there is a possibility of being hired directly to Teraloop. The

work will begin at the beginning of January 2026. Due to the employment starting in

January, we require a valid residence permit in Finland and the right to work in the EU.

The role of a Production Technician is hands-on and diverse. Your tasks will include

basic metal work, machining (small manual lathe and milling machine), mechanical

assembly, wiring and building of electrical cabinets, as well as warehouse-related

duties. Sometimes work requires precision, attention to detail, and solid technical

understanding. You will be reading electrical schematics and using common hand

tools. Experience in welding (especially TIG) is considered an advantage but is not

mandatory. Although comprehensive training will be provided, we expect you to have a

strong ability to learn and a genuine interest in technology. Working hours are mainly on

weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In Teraloop, you will be working as part of a small team, so good communication skills

and the ability to collaborate are highly valued. The role requires initiative and flexibility,

as the workdays may include a variety of tasks. Occasional installation trips abroad may

also be part of the job, so readiness to travel is a plus. The working language is English,

and you need to be able to communicate with the team in English.
