Data Scientist
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join Aidian’s data analytics team at the R&D department. Your main tasks will be to analyze and interpret complex datasets and to participate in developing machine learning models. Your primary responsibilities include advancing data-driven projects from concept to development in challenging and fast-paced collaborative projects. You will participate in data collection, processing, and analysis, as well as the development and optimization of new analytical methods. You will document your work and report results clearly.
We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education degree (M.Sc.) in computer science, bioinformatics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. You should have practical experience in data analytics and preferably also in machine learning and AI. You are tech-savvy, coding-fluent problem solver who is naturally comfortable in data-driven environments. You are systematic, cooperative, and can handle the pressure and urgency of projects well. Experience in the medical device field and knowledge of ISO standards (13485, 14971) and IVD directives and regulations is considered an advantage.
We expect you to have:
– Good knowledge and practical experience in data analytics and machine learning methods and tools.
– A relevant higher education degree (e.g., M.Sc.).
– Strong coding proficiency (preferably Python), with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
– Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
– Responsibility, decision-making ability, and flexibility in changing situations.
– A proactive and independent work approach, and the ability to lead by example.
Skills considered as an advantage:
– Knowledge of cloud platforms (especially Azure Fabric).
– Experience in utilizing deep learning frameworks (for ex. TensorFlow).
– Experience in software development and C or C++ programming languages.
