Senior Embedded Developer, Bluefors, Helsinki

About the role

As a Senior Embedded Developer, you will be a part of Bluefors’ Temperature Controller team and focus on refactoring and improving a long-standing embedded software codebase, fixing bugs, closing gaps, and ensuring maintainability of a measurement device. You will also participate in designing and implementing new features and participate in testing activities. Collaboration with engineers, physicists, and technicians is essential to understand device behaviour and support system integration.

To be successful in this role, you have an excellent understanding working with embedded softwares and ability to cooperate and communicate with different stakeholders.

Work tasks

We are looking for

– Degree in a relevant field of engineering
– Strong hands-on experience in embedded software development
– Advanced knowledge of Linux, Yocto, Python, and Git
– Experience working with software architecture
– Excellent collaboration and interaction skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
– Proactive and independent way of working
– Fluency in English

It is meritorious if you have
– Knowledge of Angular
– Experience working with test automation
– Ability to leverage AI tools for code analysis and optimization
– Experience working in the manufacturing industry
– Experience working with measurement devices.
