About the role
As a Lead Developer, you will take technical ownership of the Service Pathway platform and ensure it remains scalable, secure, and maintainable. You will work closely with the development team and product stakeholders while guiding architectural decisions and contributing directly to development work. The platform is a multi-tenant SaaS system running in a cloud-native environment on Microsoft Azure and supporting real-world healthcare operations.

Work tasks
In this role you will:
– contribute to both backend and frontend development (Node.js, React)
– take architectural responsibility across application, service, and infrastructure layers
– design and maintain cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure
– work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
– develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices
– ensure scalability, security, and performance of the platform
– drive architectural decisions regarding service structure and integrations
– facilitate technical discussions within the Scrum team
– ensure system observability and operational stability
We are looking for
– experience with multi-tenant SaaS systems
– strong backend experience (Node.js or similar technologies)
– solid frontend understanding (React)
– experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
– experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
– strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
– deep understanding of software architecture
– fluency in English
Additionally, we consider it a plus if you have:
– experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries
– experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
– experience with data-driven systems or operational analytics
– fluent skills in Finnish
