Work tasks

Vaisala is looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to join our skilled and senior software team. You will be part of a group that develops and maintains embedded sensors and devices measuring weather and environmental parameters, such as wind, rain, and humidity.
– Perform testing and automation for physical devices and their software
– Write and maintain comprehensive test cases
– Participate in projects and continuous maintenance of existing products
– Collaborate closely with software development team and other stakeholders
– Explore and develop skills in applying AI to testing

We are looking for

– Suitable education background (e.g. IT)
– Strong Python experience
– Experience in writing test cases
– Familiar with Linux environment
– Experience with Docker
– Experience working physical devices and embedded software

Nice to have:
– Experience with CI/CD pipelines
– Familiar with Robot Framework
– Github actions
– Jenkins
– AI experience
