Junior Mobile Application Tester for the banking sector in Helsinki

About the role

This role is integral to ensuring the high quality of our client’s mobile and web applications. You will initially focus on comprehensive manual testing, gaining deep insight into their products, before joining to develop and implement test automation strategies. You’ll contribute to a team dedicated to efficient and thorough front-end releases.

Work tasks

Ensuring the quality of digital products through meticulous manual and automated testing, with a focus on mobile applications, and contributing to the evolution of test automation practices.
– Conduct manual testing for mobile and web applications to ensure high quality.
– Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in software.
– Collaborate closely with the development team to understand new features and functionalities.
– Transition from manual testing to developing and implementing test automation scripts.
– Focus on establishing robust mobile test automation processes.
– Contribute to defining and evolving test automation guidelines and processes within the team.

We are looking for

– Relevant academic degree within IT (M. Sc. or University of Applied Sciences degree)
– Fluency in English
– Prior experience with independent manual testing
– Ability to follow industry regulations and established processes

It is meritorious if you have
– Competence in test automation, with experience in Robot Framework
– Good knowledge of mobile test automation techniques

For at least the first 6 months, you will work on an assignment for our client in the banking industry. A credit check will be conducted for the selected individual.
