Business Lead (Sanctions Screening)

Our banking client is looking for Business Lead to lead their Sanctions Screening Platform Transformation.

This is a business focused role. Candidate has to have the ability to lead the transformation. They have to have practically understand what best practice looks like in the area of Sanctions Screening and help client to make the right decisions. Transformation will include making changes to data sourcing, technology, processes, operating models and potentially organisational design. Therefore candidate has to have experience from a business (defining and securing the outcome for the organisation) angle previously.

About the assignment and your responsibilities:
• Defining and securing execution against a set of success criteria
• Providing business direction during analysis of options on future state
• Supporting the creation of clear and concise financials, as-is and potential to be options
• From a business perspective supporting and driving comparisons of different solutions through Request for Proposal (RfP) or other means of vendor comparison
• Providing business direction to requirements definition for target state sanctions screening including data integration, screening performance, alert workflow and management information
• You will liaise with technical stakeholders on matters such as non-functional performance, user access management and other topics to secure business outcomes
• You will support solution review and options analysis to determine configuration securing no backward steps in risk management
• You will work with organisational change securing that the impact of changes to the organisations technology estate on day to day operations is understood, managed and sufficient planning is in place and then executed to drive business outcomes
• You will help secure good governance and transparency including of BAU risks post delivery
• You will secure the delivery aligned with Model Risk Management principles
• You will help to conduct benefits realization, including evidencing to the organisation outcomes delivered and securing end results are acheived

Required experience and knowledge:
• Strong experience in Sanctions Screening Transformation.
• Experience leading technology and organisation change in Sanctions Screening
• Experience working with delivery constraints such as the time, cost and quality triangle to achieve desirable business outcomes
• Experience issuing requirements, reviewing designs, support options analysis and secure clear and concise presentation into governance
• Experience planning and executing complex tasks independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision achieving goals and proactively updating on your progress
• Experience working closely with business owners to secure alignment
• Experience communicating competently and confidently to management and risk owners

Allocation: 100%
Assignment start date: October
Duration: 31.12.2024
Location: Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway. Team is working from the local office on a weekly basis.
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
