Metal ship hull fitter

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:
– Precise Cutting skills of MS and Alloy Steels using Oxy-Acetylene Cutter
– Understand and Interpret block fabrication / Hull Erection drawings. Should be capable for working independently with the drawings and work
instructions
– Be capable to align Steel structures / plates varying from thickness 4 mm to 35 mm
– Perform FCAW welding for Tack weld
– Knowledge of using power tools, Hydraulic jacks
– Understanding of safe working methods
– Able to use Plumb, levels and measurement devices
– Capable of working at heights and confined spaces
– Knowledge of remote operated Overhead cranes will be added advantage
Our expectations:
– At least 12 months of experience in ship fitting.
– Availability to move to another worksite if needed.
