We are looking for a Feedstock Trader to join St1, an innovative leader in the energy sector.
As a part of our HVO Value Chain, the position will focus on trading renewable feedstocks to maximize biorefinery and company value. The job allows the person to be in the core of commercial activities on St1 with core responsible area. The person will work as part of our trading team in collaboration with supply chain operations and refinery. The persons position will be in Helsinki (Tripla), and report to the Value Chain lead HVO/SAF, St1 Nordic. The position is full-time and permanent.
How youll help drive the change
Joining St1, youll be part of running and developing a profitable business that invests in long-term energy solutions. Together we achieve the extraordinary through everyday work. As a Feedstock Trader, youll play a key role in:
– Responsible of feedstock trading activities at responsible area as part of trading team
– Manage physical feedstock trading positions
– Investigating and reporting market analysis on renewable feedstocks
– Ownership and development of the feedstock business at core responsible area
– Maintain relationships with various collectors and waste management companies in the field
– Participate in overall development of Value chain management on Nordic level
– Participate of HVO value chain commercial optimization
– Steer and participate development of new business cases & product offerings
What you bring to the team
Were looking for a colleague with the drive to challenge, collaborate and grow. To thrive in this role, you likely have:
– Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience (commercial, supply chain management,
– operations)
– Core strength – Customer focus
– Independent and risk-taking abilities
– Development mindset
– Understanding of EU Renewable Energy regulation and its implications for the Nordic market seen as an asset
– Excellent English skills, other Nordic languages are an asset but not a requirement
– Ability and willingness to travel between locations
– Relevant education
