**Wellmo Back End Lead Developer Job Description**

At Wellmo, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us develop world class services that improve customer experience we are now looking for a new lead back-end developer. You will be responsible for leading architecture and back-end development to provide wellness and health service platform capabilities. If you have a solid background in back-end development and are familiar with Cloud Services, wed love to speak with you.

**Objectives of this Role**

– Leading back-end architecture and development

– Coaching and guiding team on back-end architecture and development

**Skills and Qualifications**

– Ability to learn and understand comprehensive java back-end relatively fast and be productive working with java + spring, morphia, mongodb backend as well as node + postgress on dockerized linux + Kubernetes environment.

– Ability to develop and maintain APIs, use and consume various third party APIs

– Understanding trackers, queues, and authentication methods (Oauth, SAML)

– Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or alternatively versatile experience on the field. A background in healthcare or medical informatics is a plus.

– Proven experience as a back-end development working with small software development teams, preferably in the medical IT sector.

– Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

– Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies

– Good Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse team members and stakeholders.

– Familiarity with software development processes and the specific challenges faced in the development of medical IT services and applications.
