Prototype Equipment Electrical and Automation Technician, Normet, Tampere

We are looking for a Prototype Equipment Electrical and Automation Technician to join Normets Technology Development team in the Tampere area.

The Tampere Technology Center is responsible for developing, building, and testing Normets new technologies. The solutions being built are new and differ from one another, making the work highly varied and versatile.

The employment relationship is permanent. Working hours are mainly regular daytime work with flexible working hours, five days a week. The role requires occasional travel within Finland and abroad. The position will start as agreed, with the latest start date of October 2026.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

· Building prototype equipment assemblies

· Electrical installations (low-current and high-voltage installations)

· Automation installations

· Testing and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems in prototype equipment

· Other tasks related to prototype equipment, depending on your skills

We hope you have:

· Suitable vocational education as an electrical/automation technician

· Experience in electrical and automation installations for mobile machinery and/or electric vehicles

· Fluent collaboration skills

· Knowledge of automation and field bus technology

· Good IT skills

· Language skills: English; Finnish language skills are considered an advantage
