Gao Kitchen & Bar is a newly opened premium Vietnamese fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Katajanokka, Helsinki. With seating for approximately 100 guests and a growing catering business, we are passionate about delivering authentic Vietnamese cuisine with exceptional quality and hospitality.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced **Traditional Vietnamese Cook** who is passionate about preserving the authentic flavors of Vietnam while working in a modern professional kitchen.
Your Responsibilities
– Prepare authentic traditional Vietnamese dishes using classic cooking techniques and recipes.
– Ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
– Follow modern food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
– Understand and manage food allergies and special dietary requirements.
– Support both restaurant service and catering events.
– Work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.
– Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed kitchen environment.
Requirements
– Proven experience in traditional Vietnamese cooking.
– Strong knowledge of authentic Vietnamese ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods.
– Understanding of modern kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
– Knowledge of allergen management and food handling regulations.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced fine dining and catering environment.
– Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
– A positive attitude and passion for quality food.
