Nanny for a special need Child

I am seeking to employ a full-time nanny to care for my 12-year-old son, who has special needs. The role involves providing daily supervision, support with routines, and ensuring his safety and well-being. The position includes accommodation and meals, as well as access to the family car for work-related duties. The employment will be formal and in accordance with Finnish labour law. The salary will be based on experience and the applicable collective agreement (TES) for domestic work/childcare in Finland. All terms will be defined in a written employment contract. Below is a more information about the job description:

– Provide daily care and supervision.

– Assist with morning and evening routines.

– Preparing the child for school, accompany the child to therapy sessions, appointments, and recreational activities when required.

– Assist with communication, behavioral support, and social interaction.

– Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child.

– Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.

– Monitor and report any changes in the child’s health, behavior, or development.

– Provide companionship and emotional support.

– Perform child-related household duties such as laundry, tidying play areas, and organizing belongings.

Essential Requirements

– Genuine passion for working with children.

– Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills.

– Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

– Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

– Clean criminal background check.

– Good spoken and written English.
