We are looking for a OT/IT and Cybersecurity Specialist based in our Espoo office.

Our purpose is to secure access to cleaner energy for our customers. We help them navigate the energy transition towards continuously reducing emissions. Our areas of expertise are biogas, liquefied biogas (LBG), natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and electricity markets. We own and operate biogas plants and an extensive network of gas filling stations in the Nordic countries. Our customers include industry and businesses that use a lot of energy as well as maritime and land transport providers.

OT/IT and cybersecurity Specialist supports the delivery, development, and reliable operation of Gasums IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) environments. In this role your important role is to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant operations across factory/site systems, networks, and asset management solutions, contributing to business continuity and technology transformation.

At Gasum, our Group IT team plays a pivotal role to support business by delivering reliable and secure IT services ensuring compliance towards energy industry standards and best practices. In this role you will work closely with OT/IT Services Lead and both our internal and external partners and colleagues.

Main responsibilities in the role are:

– Operate, maintain and coordinate IT & OT infrastructure services – Support OT environments incl. automation systems, IoT and industrial networks – Execute project tasks independently – Perform troubleshooting, incident handling and monitoring – Manage and coordinate configuration, patching and lifecycle processes for infrastructure – Execute cybersecurity processes across OT & IT environments, including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity/access management, and security monitoring – Support Security Operations and incident response activities led by the OT/IT Basic Services Lead – Contribute to development initiatives driven by the OT/IT Basic Services Lead, ensuring solutions meet operational and business requirements – Participate in design work related to infrastructure and OT architecture – Support vendor coordination and service delivery quality within assigned areas – Work closely with IT & OT business technology teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service operations.

What we expect from you:
– Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Automation Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience – 2-5 years experience in IT/OT infrastructure, network operations or cybersecurity – Familiarity with operating and securing hybrid infrastructure (on-prem, cloud, network, endpoint) IT infrastructure services, end-user technologies, and network operations – Cybersecurity management, tools, and processes experience – Ability to work according to ITIL/SCRUM or similar methodologies – Strong communication and collaboration skills – Analytical, systematic, and proactive approach to problem solving – Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and grow – Fluent English, as it is our company language – Understanding of Energy Sector factory and site OT systems, industrial networks, automation architecture if preferred.
