Business Analyst

Our client in the banking sector is looking for a consultant, Business Analyst (Internal audit on Significant Risk Transfer Framework).

The assignment includes contributing centrally to the scoping and execution of the audit project based on an Outcome Statement approved by the clients Board Audit Committee as part of the Audit Plan 2026. This includes identification of key risks, assessment of key controls, and respective testing of operating effectiveness. The exact scope of tasks will be determined based on profile availability and the final project scope.

You will cooperate with the Audit Lead (located in Oslo) and several in house Internal Audit Managers (in Helsinki, Copenhagen and Stockholm).

Must-have knowledge and experience:
Technical skills:
Previous exposure to Bank Treasury and Capital Management practices.
Knowledge of Treasury operating models at large international banks.
A profound understanding of capital management, especially securitisation processes and risk management, including relevant regulations and SRT transaction preparation, execution, and life cycle management.
Good grasp of financial and non-financial risks related to running a significant risk transfer portfolio.

Interpersonal skills:
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Strong business acumen with the ability to interact efficiently and professionally with senior management.
High degree of intellectual agility, including the ability to summarise and draw conclusions using both quantitative and qualitative data, and connect detailed information to a broader risk narrative.
Perseverant mindset.
High adaptability to work according to the clients Internal Audit Process Methodology.
