Production Technician – ICEYE, Espoo
We are looking for Production Technicians to join our client, ICEYE, in
Otaniemi, Espoo. The positions are permanent full-time roles. The employment contract will be signed with Barona

he work will begin as soon as possible according to agreement.
As a Production Technician, you will assemble, inspect, and test satellite hardware according to defined procedures and quality standards, ensuring accurate, safe, and consistent build and test outcomes. You will work closely with engineers and quality teams, follow instructions precisely, report issues clearly, and contribute to a safe, well-organized, and efficient production environment.
We are seeking candidates with a vocational or technical qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field. Equivalent hands-on experience in electronics production is also highly valued.
The ideal candidate has practical experience in electronics assembly, production, or testing. You should be able to read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and schematics with accuracy and consistency.
A basic understanding of electronic lab equipment-such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and thermal chambers-is required. Familiarity with PCBA handling, inspection, and minor rework is also expected.
Basic skills in Python and Linux are needed to run and interact with existing test scripts and tools, perform simple data checks or log reviews, and support test and production workflows.
Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail and the discipline to follow established procedures and documentation. You must also be able to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment, including cleanroom conditions. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential.

We offer a full-time (37.5 h/week) permanent employment contract. The work is carried out on-site in Espoo, Otaniemi. Please note that the role requires a clean background, and selected candidates will undergo a security clearance.
