Specialist, Education Export

We are now seeking a
Specialist in Education Export
based in Helsinki on a fixed-term contract until December 31, 2027. The starting date is negotiable.

Are you a visionary who understands the potential of education export? Apply to become part of Finlands most well-known university of applied sciences. In this role, your core responsibilities include developing Haaga-Helias education export activities and carrying out sales and marketing work in cooperation with international agents responsible for tuition-fee-paying student recruitment. The role will be tailored according to the selected candidates experience and interests, with either a B2C or B2B focus.

Key responsibilities include:
– Developing, contracting, training, and maintaining cooperation with international student recruitment agent networks
– International marketing and sales of tuition-fee-based degree programmes as well as articulation and pathway programmes
– Planning and implementing localized marketing activities for selected non-EU target markets
– Monitoring and reporting the results of semester-based recruitment rounds
– Contributing to the development of student selection and admissions processes
– Coordinating short-term international education programmes and incoming student cohorts
– Building and developing commercial cooperation with international B2B clients
– Supporting digital platforms and tools (Unibuddy, LMS, WordPress, and online learning environments)

Role emphasis based on background

B2C-focused role: International Student Recruitment
– Operational management and quality assurance of the agent network
– Planning and implementation of recruitment campaigns and applicant journeys
– Coordination of application rounds and development of admissions processes
– Utilisation and development of digital recruitment channels and platforms

B2B-focused role: Education Export and Commercial Partnerships
– Building and developing international B2B customer relationships and partnerships
– Sales and marketing of degree-based and customized education solutions
– Development of education export products and service concepts
– Responsibility for sales and marketing activities in selected target markets

We expect you to have
– A relevant higher education degree
– A strong international, sales-oriented mindset and the ability to independently manage and develop your area of responsibility
– Minimum 3 years of experience in higher education, education export, student recruitment, or education marketing
– Excellent command of English
– Strong IT skills (MS Office, MS Dynamics)

Additional language skills, strong intercultural competence, and international experience are considered an asset. The role requires willingness to travel occasionally for international cooperation and marketing activities.
