Senior Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer for our client in Espoo. The position is planned to start as soon as possible and is initially a fixed-term contract of approximately six months. For a strong performer, there is a possibility of longer-term or permanent employment.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of electronic systems, covering the full development lifecycle from concept to validation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable hardware solutions in fast-paced development cycles.

What youll do

– Own the full electronics development lifecycle, from concept and schematics to layout, bring-up, testing, and productization
– Design, develop, and validate high-reliability electronic systems in close collaboration with mechanical, thermal, firmware, and software teams
– Drive rapid iteration and prototyping, making pragmatic design trade-offs to deliver functional solutions efficiently
– Take responsibility for system-level decision-making, validation strategies, and technical documentation
– Support manufacturing readiness, sourcing considerations, and transition to production
– Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and cross-functional ways of working

We are looking for candidates who have

– A university degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field
– 7+ years of experience in electronics engineering
– Experience owning end-to-end electronics development, not just a single design phase
– Strong board-level design experience, including schematics, PCB layout, and bring-up
– Experience working in cross-disciplinary environments (e.g. electronics, mechanics, thermal, firmware)
– Ability to work independently and make technical decisions under uncertainty
– Excellent command of English

We appreciate

– Background in embedded, RF, industrial, robotics, or aerospace-related systems
– Experience with rapid prototyping, validation testing, and iterative development cycles
– Hands-on and pragmatic mindset with a bias for execution
