Were looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our Semiconductor ALD Business Unit at Beneq.In this role, youll play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation solutions for our Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) equipment – technology used by leading semiconductor players worldwide. Youll work hands-on with complex systems and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality, reliability, and performance.Key Responsibilities:Working closely with hardware and software engineers to develop and maintain relevant test automation solutions that use hardware-in-the-loop systems to create holistic system-level quality gates for software developmentConduct integration testing to ensure seamless operation of system componentsCollaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and design test cases accordinglyConduct performance and load testing to ensure the system meets performance criteriaCreate and maintain technical documentation for the software systems and report QA results with clear, reproducible steps for identified issuesStay current with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies, and introduce new techniques where appropriateRequired Skills and Qualifications:EducationBachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience & Technical Skills4+ years of hands-on experience in test design and execution as part of larger software development projectsStrong critical thinking skills and a customer-oriented mindsetProven experience with test automation frameworks and modern testing toolsStrong programming skills, preferably in C#, C, and/or C++Knowledge of software architecture patterns such as MVVM, Microservices, and SOAExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MSSQL)Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesSoft Skills:A structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven way of workingStrong documentation and technical writing skillsSolid understanding of software quality assurance principlesClear and effective communication skills in EnglishWhat We OfferA unique opportunity to work with advanced ALD technology at the forefront of the semiconductor industryA global, high-tech environment where your work has real impact on real productsA collaborative and supportive team culture that values expertise, ownership, and continuous learningCompetitive salary and a comprehensive benefits packageInterested?
