Your role and the team 

Join us at Elomatic as we strengthen our Sales team in Southern Finland, led by Tuomas. We’re hiring preferably to our office in Espoo, but this role can also be based in Turku or Tampere — just tell us your preferred location in your application!

As Sales Manager, you will drive sales activities for engineering and consulting projects ranging from small-scale to large international assignments in the industrial sector. Your focus will be on growing existing customer relationships while actively acquiring new ones within your area of responsibility. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to leverage your extensive network and actively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Working closely with sales management, you will utilize Elomatic’s full range of design and consulting services to create value for our clients. Your responsibilities cover the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and preparing quotes to negotiating framework agreements and managing reporting. You will also contribute to setting annual goals, maintain regular customer contact, and develop tailored sales strategies to meet each client’s needs.

What helps you succeed in this role

  • Relevant education in technical or business fields (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or strong technical understanding gained through previous roles.
  • Solid experience in international sales and/or project management roles, preferably within consulting and engineering businesses (process industries such as forest, chemical, food or energy).
  • Ability to manage large-scale and international sales or delivery projects and present complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Independent, sales-driven mindset combined with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a natural interest in networking and building long-term partnerships.
  • Existing contact network in the industrial landscape.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple large clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in Finnish and very good command of English; other languages are considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel within Finland and occasionally abroad.
