Junior Operations Specialist – Power Trading (Summer 2026)

We are looking for a Junior Operations Specialist – Power Trading to join our team for summer 2026. The position can be based in either our Espoo or Jyväskylä office.

As a Junior Operations Specialist, you will work as part of the Power Team, maintaining up-to-date forecasts, reports, and supporting product and system development. The role provides wide insight into all Power Trading activities—from physical power operations to financial hedging and portfolio optimization.

Your main responsibilities

– Participate in customer work and support the optimization of the physical power customer portfolio across all types of assets.
– Support development of operational activities: forecasting tools, new products, systems, processes and ways of working
– Assist in onboarding new customers and enabling growth in the Power business
– Conduct reporting duties and support monthly reporting process development (including PnL tool validation)
– Collaborate closely with the 24/7 Control Room and Sales teams
– Handle trading- and PPA-related tasks within the ETRM system

What we expect from you

– Advanced-level university studies (MSc/MBA or equivalent) or nearing completion – Fluency in English and Finnish – Experience with data analysis and analytics environments (e.g., Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI). – Analytical and problem-solving mindset – Good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders – Willingness to share information and support team development
