Security Guards, onboard Hansa-link vessels. Helsinki-Travemünde-Helsinki

Customer-oriented Security Guard ensures the safety and security of the ship, passengers and crew, while also providing excellent customer service to enhance the great passenger experience.

Reports to the Purser regarding passenger service related duties and to the Master in safety and security related duties

Key Responsibilities:

Patrolling and surveillance onboard

Passenger Service

Emergency Response

Additional duties: Assist in provisions when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Security Guard 
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills in interacting and assisting passengers and providing high levels of service. 
• Language skills: English as working language. Finnish and German are appreciated.  
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively, balancing security duties with customer service.
• Basic Safety Training:. Finnlines will provide this if you don’t have attended the training.
• Crowd Training:
• Security Awareness Training. Finnlines will provide this if you don’t have attended the training.
• Additional and appreciated:Certification in first aid, CPR, or emergency response
