Senior Java Developer with PHP Experience

We are looking for Senior Java Developer with PHP Experience our client operating in the banking industry.

About the assignment and your responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop current PHP setup (Drupal) until replacement.
• Develop Java backend replacement solutions.
• Get involved with any migrations where needed

Required experience:
• Several years work experience as PHP developer
• Solid background and experience in developing in Java Spring (Framework, Boot, Batch)
• 5+ years of experience in development and software engineering
• Strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in team-oriented atmosphere
• Familiar with the latest technologies. E.g. Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and DB2/Oracle
• Hands on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, REST, Maven and JUnit

Nice to have:
• Experience with Java Reactive Programming, Hibernate/JPA
• Experience building highly available applications
• Experience from Drupal

Allocation: 100 %
Assignment start date: ASAP
Duration: 30.9.2025
Location: Helsinki, Finland. Team is working from the office on a weekly basis.
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
