PROJECT MANAGER, CAPACITY MANAGEMENT

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in construction or industrial projects to join our global Capacity Management team in a permanent position. This role is preferably based at our head office in Helsinki but can potentially also be located in one of our other operating countries in Europe.

Your Future Team

As a Project Manager, you will be part of our Operations and Supply Chain function, specifically the Capacity Management team of seven professionals. Our team is responsible for a range of investment projects, including equipment installations, technical development, energy efficiency, and construction works across our 23 operating countries. We are a closely collaborating team with great team members based in both Europe and Asia.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in driving our projects to success. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee project implementation from conceptual design to execution and handover
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders
  • Report and follow up on budget and schedules
  • Participate in budget preparations and supplier negotiations
  • Implement annual capital expenditure

What Helps You to Shine in This Role?

We are looking for a proactive team member with a practical approach and experience in investment projects. We hope you bring best practices to our team, are fun to work with, and have an international mindset! To thrive in this role, you should have:    

  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry (or equivalent) 
  • A relevant technical degree 
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into project objectives
  • Knowledge in scope and contract management, as well as budgeting and cost management 
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken 
  • Readiness to travel
