As a Sales Manager, you will run sales projects for the Decarbonization business in the Service function of Marine and Ports Division in Finland, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy.

In this role, together with our experienced team of Sales Managers, you will have responsibility of sales to our customers for the complete Decarbonization product portfolio, both commercially and technically. You will contribute to creating value propositions towards ABB customers, execute sales strategy and contribute to business development activities to grow the business. The role is located in Vuosaari, Helsinki/Finland.

This position reports to Head of Sales, Marine Service & Digital Finland.

Your responsibilities:
– Running sales projects, conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks
– Identifying new business opportunities and being responsible of sales to ABB Marine for selected customers
– Coordinating the information flow around sales activities, and providing forecasts and market intelligence to marketing and sales, as well as product management
– Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sales
– Developing and contributing to account plans to meet the business and customer needs

Your background:
– Several years of experience working as Sales Manager, Sales Support Engineer, R&D Engineer, or in another relevant role, preferably within the Marine sector
– Good knowledge and experience on contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial / legal terms
– A customer-focused mindset and a professional, ”can-do” attitude
– A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or in a similar relevant field
– Fluent written and spoken English skills, Finnish is an advantage
