For our client were looking for 2 Senior Application Carve-out Lead \/ Specialists capable of independently driving assigned application separation activities from planning through execution and validation.<\/p>\n
The resources will work closely with Service Managers, application vendors, business stakeholders, project teams and other IT teams. The overall objective is to add independent execution capacity to the team and reduce the amount of day-to-day carve-out planning, coordination and hands-on execution currently performed by Service Managers.<\/p>\n
Scope: Dedicated demerger resources supporting application portfolios currently managed by IT Service Managers.<\/p>\n
Resource 1- Support for Group Finance applications HFM Hyperion, IPM Anaplan, Tagetik, Workiva
\nResource 2 – Support for project FX hedging and calculation application PROFIT<\/p>\n
The resource is expected to:
\n\u00b7 Take end-to-end ownership of assigned application carve-out activities.
\n\u00b7 Establish and maintain the application-level carve-out plan, activities, dependencies and readiness. \u00b7 Identify dependencies related to applications, integrations, data, environments, users\/access, infrastructure, vendors and other solutions.
\n\u00b7 Coordinate target environment and solution setup activities with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
\n\u00b7 Drive technical and functional separation activities through testing, cutover and validation.
\n\u00b7 Coordinate vendors and other technical resources required to complete the separation.
\n\u00b7 Proactively identify gaps, risks, issues and required decisions.
\n\u00b7 Ensure that required technical and operational documentation is created and maintained.
\n\u00b7 Support solution handover and operational readiness after separation.
\n\u00b7 Escalate to the Service Manager primarily when business\/application-specific decisions, prioritization or escalation are required.<\/p>\n
The resource should drive the work rather than only coordinate and report it.<\/p>\n
Expected background and capabilities:
\n\u00b7 Strong experience in enterprise application lifecycle, implementation, migration or separation activities.
\n\u00b7 Previous experience in IT carve-outs, demergers, M&A integrations or comparable application transformation programs is strongly preferred.
\n\u00b7 Good understanding of enterprise applications and their dependencies, including integrations, data flows, identity\/access, environments and vendors.
\n\u00b7 Experience in planning and executing testing, deployment, cutover and validation activities.
\n\u00b7 Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, application owners, vendors and cross-functional IT teams in an international environment.
\n\u00b7 Strong documentation and structured problem-solving capabilities.
\n\u00b7 Self-driven, proactive and hands-on way of working.
\n\u00b7 Ability to independently structure ambiguous topics and drive them towards resolution.
\n\u00b7 Fluent written and spoken English.<\/p>\n
Key success criterion: The resource must be capable of independently taking ownership of an application\/workstream and driving the carve-out forward without requiring continuous operational steering from the Service Manager.<\/p>\n
