About the role<\/p>\n

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the planning, coordination, and follow-up of business and IT demands, projects, and development activities. You will help ensure that new initiatives are properly captured, evaluated, and guided through governance processes, while also providing hands-on project coordination support.<\/p>\n

This is a versatile position where you will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders, helping translate complex needs into clear summaries, actionable schedules, and structured follow-ups. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, where you will be employed as a consultant through Academic Work. There is a possibility for extension following the initial contract. The position is located in Espoo with a hybrid model, requiring office attendance at least twice a week.<\/p>\n

Work tasks
\n– Demand Management: Capture, review, and maintain incoming business and IT demand requests in ServiceNow SPM.
\n– Scope & Value Clarity: Assist demand owners in defining scope, business value, estimated costs, dependencies, and resource needs to ensure complete documentation.
\n– Governance Support: Prepare overview materials and dashboards for prioritization and governance meetings, while carefully tracking approvals, deferrals, and action items.
\n– Project Coordination: Support project planning, administration, and execution, including updating schedules, maintaining action logs, tracking milestones, and identifying basic risks
\n– Financial Administration: Help manage financial tracking, purchase orders, consultant time reporting, budget monitoring, and related documentation.
\n– Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate transparent communications, prepare clear presentation materials, and contribute to the continuous improvement of coordination processes.<\/p>\n

We are looking for<\/p>\n

– A relevant educational background (Bachelor’s degree, ongoing studies, or equivalent experience in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field).
\n– Some previous exposure to demand planning, project coordination, portfolio administration, or general project support (e.g., through work, internships, or academic projects).
\n– Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools
\n– Basic understanding of project budgets, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
\n– Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT needs.
\n– Fluent skills in spoken and written English.<\/p>\n

It is meritorious if you have
\n– Good knowledge of Finnish or Swedish
\n– Knowledge of ServiceNow SPM, demand management, or IT governance<\/p>\n
