For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer.<\/p>\n
What youll be doing:
\n– Design, implement, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
\n– Lead and contribute to the modernization of existing applications by migrating legacy View-based UI implementations to Compose – Refactor and update custom-built UI components to align with standardized design system and UI component libraries
\n– Drive frontend engineering best practices, promoting maintainable, scalable, and reusable mobile solutions
\n– Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Espresso and contribute to improving overall test automation coverage
\n– Create and maintain unit tests and other verification activities to ensure application quality and reliability
\n– Participate in feature design, implementation, testing, release activities, and ongoing maintenance – Analyse application behaviour, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements to performance, stability, and user experience
\n– Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, architects, and business experts to deliver customer-centric mobile solutions<\/p>\n
Must-have knowledge and experience:
\n– Strong professional experience with Kotlin
\n– Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
\n– Solid experience in Android application development
\n– Strong experience with Git
\n– Good working knowledge of Java
\n– Experience working with IntelliJ IDEA
\n– Good working knowledge of Gradle Nice-to-have knowledge and experience
\n– Material Design
\n– View\/XML-based Android UI development
\n– Experience with Espresso and automated UI testing<\/p>\n
