Hand**<\/p>\n<p>**EmMoi Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, Matinkyl\u00e4, Espoo**<\/p>\n<p>EmMoi Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine is looking for a reliable and hardworking **Kitchen Hand** to join our kitchen team in Matinkyl\u00e4, Espoo.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who is not only comfortable with general kitchen duties, but also has **basic cooking and food preparation skills and a good understanding of Vietnamese cuisine.**<\/p>\n<p>**Main responsibilities**<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Washing dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Keeping the kitchen, working areas and storage areas clean and organised<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Assisting with daily food preparation<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Washing, peeling, cutting and preparing vegetables, herbs, meat and other ingredients<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Preparing ingredients according to the kitchens recipes and instructions<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Supporting cooks with simple cooking and food preparation tasks<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Portioning, organising and storing prepared ingredients<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Receiving and storing ingredients and supplies when needed<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Following food hygiene, food safety and workplace safety procedures<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Other general kitchen support duties when required<\/p>\n<p>**What we are looking for**<\/p>\n<p>The right person should have:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; **Good knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese cuisine**, including common Vietnamese ingredients, herbs, sauces, flavours and food preparation methods<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Familiarity with Vietnamese food culture and traditional Vietnamese dishes<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; **Basic cooking skills** and confidence working in a professional kitchen<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; **Basic knife skills**, including safe and efficient cutting, slicing, chopping and preparation of ingredients<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ability to follow recipes, preparation instructions and portion guidelines<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ability to work efficiently and stay organised in a busy restaurant environment<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Reliability, responsibility and punctuality<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ability to work independently as well as part of a team<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A positive attitude and willingness to learn EmMois recipes and working methods<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required<\/p>\n<p>Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen, particularly with **Vietnamese or Asian cuisine**, is highly valued.<\/p>\n<p>A valid **Hygiene Passport is a requirement.**<\/p>\n<p>**Employment details**<\/p>\n<p>**Position:** Kitchen Hand. **Workplace:** EmMoi
