We are currently looking for enthusiastic and professional Waiters \/ Waitresses to join our restaurant team. This vital role ensures that our dining experiences continue to meet and exceed guest expectations, providing service that is both attentive and seamless.<\/p>\n
ABOUT THE ROLE<\/p>\n
The Waiter \/ Waitress position entails delivering exceptional dining service to our guests. You will work closely with our kitchen to ensure that every meal is a memorable part of the Northern Lights Village experience.<\/p>\n
You should be able to work quickly, answer customer queries and take and deliver orders. You should possess a polite and charismatic character.
\nThis position requires someone who can manage a high-paced environment with grace, effectively communicate with an international clientele, and contribute positively to our team’s dynamic.<\/p>\n
Our restaurants serve mainly buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with occasional \u00e0 la carte-reservations taking place.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
* Provide warm and engaging service to every guest<\/p>\n
* Understand and communicate menu items effectively, including any allergen information<\/p>\n
* Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service<\/p>\n
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area<\/p>\n
* Handle payments and perform closing duties<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
* Finnish Alcohol Legislation Proficiency Certificate<\/p>\n
* 2 or more years of experience in restaurant service<\/p>\n
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor<\/p>\n
* Fluent in spoken and written English<\/p>\n
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays<\/p>\n
