In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care of our husky dogs and delivering unique sledding experiences to our guests.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>-Caring for and training our husky dogs<\/p>\n<p>-Leading guests on husky sledding tours<\/p>\n<p>-Providing safety instructions and ensuring guest safety during tours<\/p>\n<p>-Maintaining the kennels and equipment<\/p>\n<p>-Feeding, grooming, and monitoring the health of the huskies<\/p>\n<p>-Delivering a memorable and educational experience to guests about huskies and mushing<\/p>\n<p>-Assisting with other resort activities as needed<\/p>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n<p>-Experience in dog mushing or working with sled dogs<\/p>\n<p>-A strong passion for animals and wildlife<\/p>\n<p>-Good physical fitness and stamina<\/p>\n<p>-Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n<p>-Basic knowledge of animal first aid<\/p>\n<p>-Ability to work in cold weather conditions<\/p>\n<p>-Valid drivers license<\/p>\n<p>BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>-Experience in tourism or guiding<\/p>\n<p>-Fluency in multiple languages<\/p>\n<p>-Knowledge of local area<\/p>\n<p>WHAT WE OFFER<\/p>\n<p>-Opportunities for professional development and training<\/p>\n<p>-A positive and supportive working environment<\/p>\n<p>-Discounts across our properties and facilities, extensive private healthcare<\/p>\n<p>PAY, DURATION, AND BENEFITS<\/p>\n<p>-Starts: October, Ends: April<\/p>\n<p>-Working hours 120h\/3week period<\/p>\n<p>-Monthly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience (2408 &#8211; 2580 \u20ac\/month)<\/p>\n<p>-Supplements + overtime payments according to the collective labour agreement<\/p>\n<p>-If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for 300,00 \u20ac\/month<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO APPLY<\/p>\n<p>Before applying, please ensure you have the right to work in Finland.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that due to the high volume of applications, we may not reply to applications that do not fulfil the stated requirements.
