We are looking for a System Designer to strengthen our team working with ship machinery and HVAC systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise to the development and maintenance of ship machinery or HVAC systems. The work includes, among other things, system design and management, selection of equipment and components, as well as testing and procurement.<\/p>\n

You have experience in the design and development of machinery or HVAC systems, including equipment sizing, material selection, and component testing. You are able to act as the technical expert for the system and communicate smoothly with different stakeholders, such as production, shipowners, and equipment suppliers. Experience in shipbuilding and familiarity with classification societies are considered an advantage.<\/p>\n

**Your work may involve, for example, the following systems:**<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Heating, cooling, and air conditioning<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Water treatment systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Fire extinguishing systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7 LNG and inert gas systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Fuel and lubricating oil treatment systems<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Main engine and auxiliary systems<\/p>\n

The work will be carried out at our customers premises in the Helsinki area. Depending on the project, you may also work part of the week remotely.<\/p>\n

**What we expect from you:**<\/p>\n

\u00b7 A degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant field<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience with technical systems or processes<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficiency in AutoCAD<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Good command of English (Finnish language skills are considered an advantage)<\/p>\n

The salary range for this position is approximately \u20ac3,500\u20135,000 per month.<\/p>\n
