About the role<\/p>\n

Our client is an innovative and international technology company acting as a pioneer in the marine and energy markets. At the heart of the company is enabling a sustainable society and supporting the transition towards a carbon-neutral future by utilizing new innovations.<\/p>\n

In this role, you will guide and support multiple cross-functional teams consisting of software and hardware developers in adopting and continuously improving agile ways of working. Your focus will be on optimising outcomes across the entire Engine Automation organisation \u2014 not just individual teams \u2014 ensuring alignment, collaboration, and delivery effectiveness at scale. The current Scrum Masters find their work highly rewarding, especially when they see their team members grow and develop. You will get to analyze current working methods, brainstorm improvements, and see the results of your work quickly in practice!<\/p>\n

Work tasks<\/p>\n

Your workdays will consist of running versatile everyday team operations and broader organizational-level events. Here are your main responsibilities:
\n– Coach and mentor teams and individuals in agile principles, practices, and mindset across the Engine Automation development organisation.
\n– Drive systemic improvement by identifying and removing organisational impediments that span multiple teams, ensuring optimisation for the whole rather than individual team silos.
\n– Lead change initiatives hands-on \u2014 you don’t just advise, you actively drive transformation efforts from ideation through execution.
\n– Facilitate collaboration between software and hardware development teams, bridging differences in cadence, tooling, and ways of working.
\n– Support leadership in adopting servant-leadership behaviours and creating an environment of psychological safety and continuous learning.
\n– Design and implement agile frameworks and practices tailored to the realities of combined hardware\/software product development.
\n– Enable transparency through appropriate metrics, visualisation, and feedback loops that support informed decision-making at all levels.
\n– Champion a culture of experimentation, learning from failure, and relentless improvement<\/p>\n

We are looking for<\/p>\n

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a genuine curiosity for learning new things and a passion for the continuous improvement of working methods. You are a skilled facilitator who can communicate and present naturally to diverse target audiences.<\/p>\n

Our ideal candidate has:
\n– Previous work experience in a Scrum Master, Team Coach, or similar role OR a highly enthusiastic and proactive attitude toward the role
\n– A certification (Certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Methodology Trainer)
\n– An applicable higher education degree (University of Applied Sciences or University)
\n– Understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or similar) and the wisdom to apply them pragmatically
\n– Facilitation, mentoring, and training skills
\n– Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Finnish or other languages are a plus)
\n– Proactive approach to problem-solving and process development<\/p>\n

It is meritorious if you have
\n– Experience in change management
\n– Experience in industrial automation, marine technology, or engine\/powertrain development
\n– Experience coaching in environments combining software and hardware development (e.g., embedded systems, mechatronics, or similar)<\/p>\n
